Creative Teacher Giveaway!

I have a confession... crafting kind of scares me! But, this summer I have stepped way out of my comfort zone and I've been a crafting machine! (ok, maybe I just did a few projects but it's better than my usual... admire it on Pinterest and never make it!)

There was one craft I had my eye on for awhile and it was just waiting patiently on one of my Pinterest boards. I wanted to take those cute, vinyl, $1 bags from the Target dollar spot and make them into pictures.
{Click here for the original post where I found this idea.}

I put a teacher spin on it and decided to make mini corkboards! Here's how it all went down...

Gather your materials.
Each bag can make 2 corkboards, but I bought several just in case!
I bought a 4-pack of cork from Michaels.
I ended up using a stapler and not the tacks because the cork was thin.

Start cutting those bags apart!

After I had my cut bag, I measured it against the cork. I knew I would have to cut down the cork, but since it was thin it wasn't difficult!

Fit your cork piece inside the cut apart bag. Fold the flaps over and start stapling away!

The bags can hang on the wall with the sticky pads that came with the pack of cork or just use 3M command strips. OR you can hang the bag on a hook.

I'm thinking of using mine as the spot for our "exit question/ticket." Don't mind the makeshift sticky note sign! I was just happy to find my sticky notes in my mess of a classroom!!

Here's your chance to win one of these bags turned mini corkboards! I'll be making the green bags today (seen above in the materials picture) so you can choose blue or green if you win!

*Just a couple giveaway terms:
The winner must be a classroom/homeschool teacher and must live in the contiguous US due to shipping rates.
The winner must respond with a shipping address within 72 hours of being contacted by me or I will pick a new winner.

What I'm Loving Wednesday: Positively Pinspiring!

Linking up with Covered in Glitter and Glue for another week of What I'm Loving Wednesday! And what I'm loving this week is Mrs. Plemons' Positively Pinspiring linky!

Here's some of the great pins I've found this week that I'm excited to do! (And trust me when I say I'm not the craftiest person and these are all so do-able!!!)

I saw this idea on Sun, Sand & Second Grade and fell in love!! I had already bought crates to use as a bookshelf, so I'm going to make 2 of these benches instead!! I started working on mine last night and I can post some pictures soon (make sure you're following me on Instagram because you'll see them sooner over there)!!

I saw this earlier in the summer from Kristen over at Easy Teaching Tools. I finally went in to my classroom yesterday to grab my clips and paper trays! I can't wait to spray paint!!!!

I love this idea from Rowdy in Room 300! I bought little containers from The Dollar Tree (of course) and I'm going to work on labels to fit my smaller containers that will match my classroom's apple style/blue & orange colors/mish mosh of whatever I'm liking at the moment theme!

What have you been pinning?!

Make sure you head on over to Mrs. Plemons' Positively Pinspiring linky to see what pins people are loving and check out Covered in Glitter and Glue for What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm not surprised that the top 3 items people have wish listed from my store are brag tags! The brag tags have been a huge hit this summer!
(Want to know more about brag tags? Check out my blog post here.)

This was the first pack of brag tags I made and they are my most popular! I have made lots of other brag tag packs so be sure to check them out!

I can't wait to use these this year to reward students for completing their homework each month!!

These tags are fairly primary-based....BUT I had a request for some academic tags for older children. I've wanted to make those for awhile, so now I get to brainstorm some ideas!

Here's one of my newest products that will help you out with back to school!
Behavior Calendars for the whole year! They can be edited to add in notes, days off from school, behavior chart exceptions, whatever you need!

Check out these great tips to get the most out of the sale!!!

Thank you Adventures in Kinder and Beyond for the great tips!
